Emory Profile

Emory is located at the intersection of U. S. Highway 69 and Texas State Highway 19.  We are within 25 miles of two major interstate highways, I - 20 to the south and I - 30 to the north, only 64 miles east of the Dallas – Ft. Worth metroplex.  This unique location makes Emory an excellent hub for distribution to East Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana.  

According to recent articles in the RAINS COUNTY LEADER the population of the City of Emory has increased 51% over the past five years bringing our city population to just over 1,500; Rains County grew 26% during that same time period, bringing the county population to approximately 12,000.  We are included in the “Top 100 of the Fastest Growing Counties in the Nation”, number 11 in the state according to the U. S. Census Bureau.  

Emory offers a quality country lifestyle with affordable housing and reasonable land values.
