Founders Day is a full day of outdoor fun for the whole family celebrating the heritage of our city and county. Vendors and activities will begin at 9AM and end at 2PM. Several vendors will remain throughout the evening. As the festival concludes, the concert will begin at 7PM featuring headliner Neal McCoy, along with Josh Ward.
Vendor set up starts at 7AM and MUST be complete by 9AM.
Online Pricing will be $25 online at https://www.outhousetickets.com/Event/23270-Founders_Day_Concert__Festival_featuring_Neal_McCoy_and_Josh_Ward_/ and $40 at the door. All children 5 and under will be free.
The gates will open for the concert at 6PM. Josh Ward will take the stage at 7P with Neal McCoy following immediately after.
Seating is first come, first serve and we advise bringing your blankets or lawn chairs! We will have food trucks and adult beverages during the event so there will be absolutely no outside food or drinks allowed inside the gates. We will also have a dance floor this year for the first time ever and can not wait to cut a rug with the community!
Thanks to previous success, this event has helped us create an amazing new City Park, known to the community as Sandy Creek Park. We have added a splash pad and a lot of new playground equipment. Profits from this year’s festival will help the City of Emory Tourism bring more events and visitors to our great city and assist with more park projects. We plan to purchase more playground equipment and repurpose the Rubye McKeown City Park by transforming it into a dog park.
