The EDC is excited to partner with One Rock Real Estate Development and Hunt Regional, on our newest venture, a ground up urgent care and family medicine facility that will transform healthcare in the Emory, TX/ Lake Fork area.
Construction began this Monday, September 11, 2023, with an estimated completion date of early spring 2024.
The new hospital project, with Hunt Regional Hospital, will be a testament to our commitment to improving healthcare infrastructure and access in East Texas. Spanning over 5,000 square feet, the facility will feature x-ray technology, trained medical staff, and a patient-centric approach to healthcare.
Hunt Regional is honored to bring additional advanced health care options to the citizens of Emory and Rains County whom we have enjoyed serving over these last eight years. Our family medicine office will continue to provide primary wellness and chronic care. Our urgent care office will provide immediate, minor emergency care with extended hours to include evenings and weekends.
